That Kayak photo is great. The best way to view many of the NYC towers is from the vantage point of the hudson and east rivers - and the NY harbor. I would be interested on doing a group ‘Iconic Tower Tour’ on kayaks with other members of the Yimby forum: perhaps that can be arranged. I typically launch my Kayak from the boathouse located at about 59th and the Hudson River. If your interested in pursuing this idea, contact me any time - it would be a fantastic trip for photos and general viewing of the new iconic towers along the waterfront. ---

that’s not over the railyard. That’s a hotel across from Javits. The developer is Marx Group, not Related/Oxford. ---

Agreed, it looks way better now with all that seating for people! Even at night, it’s still very lively. Once the construction sheds near the entrance to the High Line dissapears, it’ll look more cohesive. ---
