NEW YORK | Domino Sugar Redevelopment | (4 Towers) | 565-170 FT

Domino Sugar from the air via Chris’s Zeppelin

Aerial view of New York: Hudson river? by Ali Eminov, on Flickr

I wish I had a Zeppelin…

I figure if I burn up in the air, “oh the humanity” type of scenario, I’d rather it be in this city as my Hindenburg crashes in the East River.

maybe if you bribe Metlife they’ll sell you one of the Snoopy fleet blimps. I hear they’re out of action now.

I do like this group of buildings more than the ones that will sprout up near the Manhattan Bridge.

this seems like a hipster response to the Vessel at Hudson Yards. “Shiny Multi-million dollar interactive scuplture? No thanks, how about we just stack a bunch of shipping containers”

I hope its permanent, it works well with the aesthetic of the park.

For a second there, I was like “man, they really are going cheap with the affordable housing”.

If they want art, just go to Port Newark. 1000’s of these are stacked per day.

Is the tower beside the bridge taller than the one beside 1S1?

I believe so but not by a big margin. Very close.
