The Chrysler Building should become condos and a hotel. It’s an iconic building, but as an office, it’s Class C. ---

[https://chryslerbuilding.com/availability/](https://chryslerbuilding.com/availability/) A quick look suggests a large fraction of the space is vacant. I know the plumbing/wet wall configuration isn’t conducive to a resi/hotel conversion, but that’s the only way I can see this building getting close to fully utilized again. The floor plans show lots of interior columns and antiquated features like ‘fan rooms’ and mechanical rooms. Its floor to floor height is more like a modern residential building anyway. ---
