I dont know where else to post this, but yours truly has just landed a job in our wonderful lady in blue, Central Park Tower. Work will be incredibly exciting now.

Some of the roof has been poured, the core floors are working their way to the top. Steel should start soon

To follow up on what I’ll be doing there. I’m gonna be waiting and doing Barista work between the restaurants. When I have time outside of classes that is.

Article in the New York Times over the weekend suggests luxury buildings are having significant trouble selling units. It does not bode well for this and other big projects around town. Also makes me wonder about whether Phase 2 of Hudson Yards, which is supposed to have lots of residential units, will get off the ground in the near term.
