NEW YORK | 520 5th Ave | 1,000 FT | 76 FLOORS

I wonder if there will be stone accents around the crown and the arched windows (balconies?)

Reminds me a bit of 750 7th Avenue

It reminds me of one of KPF’s proposals for 80 South Street.

Also somewhat similar to KPF’s unbuilt supertall design for the Subway Inn site on East 60th.

Ugh. These two never-fulfilled 'scrapers would’ve been so beautifully composed on our skyline! Too bad their chances are over.

Something tall and magnificent will rise there.

Yes, those sites are simply too good to pass up. Over 800k square feet of air rights at 80 South, and one of the best spots for Central Park views at the Subway Inn. Those specific designs might not rise, but whenever a competent developer takes control of those sites from the Chinese, they will build something great.

Very impressive work!

This corner has been left bare way too long. Fantastic addition to fifth Avenue

Hopefully, this PoS will be redeveloped. (I can’t open the article, but it appears that the Club is losing the property.)

Ironic that the college proudest of their little clubs could be losing their NYC clubhouse.
