It’s surprising to me how much this building closes off this corner/re air space. It’s made me appreciate the little crappy one story building that used to be there. ---

12.22.20 Looks like they may have settled for just black paint for the facade? Or hopefully it is just a base before some nicer cladding goes up. The facade is supposed to be terra cotta. I think what we see is just a base and they will apply the terra cotta panels over the black. ---

LOL that you are only allowed to build up to 12 stores on that lot when there are 100-year-old buildings taller than it next door. NYC’s zoning is broken. ---
