Ladies and gentlemen

She’s topped out!

Also NO. That’s absolutely not 45 Park Place greatly exaggerated in size…that’s Two World Trade Center. I promise. I swear

That article cites the current state of the site(s), yet the article itself is from December 2023. Perhaps it was edited for a “new” publication with literally no new information. The newest information since then was the additional floor space in 5 WTC and the renderings of the shortened roof height of 2 WTC with the spire

I see that article all the time. They update it every month saying “why 2 wtc hasn’t been built as of (insert current month)” which also shows the lack of progress we face every month

This topic is like Groundhog Day the movie

But there’s still hope, AMEX hasn’t said no yet (or maybe that’s also highly classified, to be read in 2075)

“And Silverstein Properties is closing in on a deal with American Express to move from Brookfield Place to a new 2 World Trade Center, now likely to be around 2 million square feet.”

Well, we’re riding with the small version whose renders i found in May.

All of this time, all of this waiting. I literally think this orangutan would’ve done more work in all of this time

Yes but I feel like closing in on a deal could mean anywhere from a month from now to 6 months or more. Still not looking forward to it being the shorter spire version if that happens. This would definitely have gone from my favorite building to my least favorite building
