Update today on the Instagram page. Looks like maybe first piece of the crane is being installed on the northern side
I’m 100% certain that’s what their doing

05/19 and 08/05/2026
Thank you. In my brain this building is somewhere between being impactful and swallowed up by One WTC’s presence. Really wish it reached the roofline of the aforementioned building.
Do you by chance have an angle from uptown like the rendering posted by Arik and highlighted by Streetscaper a few posts up? I believe that rendering shows it taller than it actually is?
To clarify @streetscaper and affirm @ThreeWentDown yes those TMRW renders are of a 2022 version, which is very similar in massing topology but with larger tubes and a ~1310ft roof instead
Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. Ugh, at the end of the day I just wanted as much bulk and mass of the skyline reclaimed regardless of the design. I know that 3 and 4 make up some volume but I wanted 1 and 2 to be equally as imposing as their predecessors.
The combined profile of 2 and 3 here looks reminiscent of the Comcast Technology Center in Philly.
This stopped my heart for a second. It looks so imposing and balanced from that angle. Of course it turns out this is out of date and the version we’re getting will be… it feels weird to call any supertall dinky, but in context and compared to what we were going to have, it looks pretty pathetic.
Agreed, that’s the best rendering/angle of this version of 2WTC I’ve ever seen. It was such a tease to post it!

Tried for a rendering of the final design from the north with similarly dramatic lighting:

Amazing building. Amazing render.
Thanks, xing.
This would be the tallest tower in every other American city but Chicago.
This looks taller than the other 1226 renders released.
I guess that overall the height is conveyed correctly, based on the ratio of the top of the 2WTC and the technical floor of the 1WTC.
