Southern shed progress and looks like they moved the white fencing backwards closer towards the tower instead of right behind where the temporary green fencing was in place and where the temporary planters had been.

Redesign put on display

Apparently someone was high and put 3wtc’s massing the opposite direction in the process:man_facepalming:

They used the radome covered spire version for the One WTC model?

Its a very undetailed version of it yes, basically just a stick.

I hope we get to see high quality images of the new model someday like they released during one of the last anniversaries

I also hope we see structural models of this new design. BIG was pretty fast to present those…six months after Fox canceled the lease of the BIG design

Also this shot HARDLY shows the site progress. But the progress is present

"New Project Alert: 2 World Trade Center Construction is set to begin on 2 World Trade Center, the final tower of the WTC complex and a true landmark project. Developed by Silverstein Properties and built by Turner Construction, the 55-story, 1,226-foot tower—designed by Foster + Partners—will serve as the global headquarters for American Express. We’re proud to continue our long-standing relationship with Rogers & Sons Concrete, Inc., a union contractor with whom we’ve worked for more than two decades. Their team, led by Antonio Rodrigues—who also serves on the board of the Cement League—previously performed the concrete scope at 4 World Trade Center, bringing proven experience back to the site. Construction will be supported by two internal Favco 440 tower cranes climbing the core of the superstructure. Work is scheduled to begin in Spring 2026. The crane to the left of this rendering is actually our Potain MR 295 located at 45 Park Place. Crane engineering will be provided by Valjato Engineering P.C. :camera_with_flash: by @mchlanglo793 "

Half of the out-of-bathtub footprint survived

That’s in contrast to the 2025 renders where (unlike now) the eastern tube pair was smaller (unlike the rest that expand after terrace levels) thus the footprint seemed even smaller?

But even then! the large model, portrays the footprint to be almost exactly as large as the original, which makes no sense (model is slightly mispositioned?).
