We can not reasonably expect to match this in NEW YORK residential architecture; but surely we can do better than Lego Land buildings. There is a discussion to be had as to why so many new buildings in NYC do not come close the the beauty (or craft/building trade quality) of the Dorilton Condo building: perhaps too deep a subject to delve into on a public forum. 😬

_I am particularly interested in the issues regarding the craft trades; which have also declined considerably over the years. Considering some sort of ‘private’ discussion group for construction trade pros like myself: who know maybe this be an idea worth pursuing - or maybe not.. 🤔_

A lot of it is the cost of labor.
