This is honestly still crazy. Still hard to tell if it will have any lighting (need to get closer and zoom in), might conflict/clash with the 5th Ave star ornament right in front of it. Yeah, my initial thoughts changed when I stopped by last week and saw electrical wires hanging from the trunk edges. So im surprised and not suprised that they ended up lighting it. I still do hope they dismantle each trunk progressively so that we can still gauge demo progress. ---

It’s most likely just sheet metal, which can be made of a various amount of metals, but it’s probably just aluminum. ---

I did not know aluminum can attain such a high polish and that luster survive outside. Knowing that it is just temporary I think it is really well done and a lot of fun! It is amazing what can be done with incredible wealth. ---
