Some updates on various projects in and near Downtown. Overall a lot recently completed, very little under active construction.
301 Winchester Ave (The Winston): Five stories, 286 rental units (of which 57 affordable at 30%/50%/60% AMI), 12,800 sf. retail. Completed March 2026.
19 Elm Street (Estelle): 7 stories, 96 rental units, 1,500 s.f. of retail. Completed August 2026.
300 State St / 742-760 Chapel St: 4 Stories (including renovation of existing vacant buildings and commercial spaces) 76 rental units (of which 60 affordable at 30%/50%/60% AMI). Under construction, opening appears to be soon.
20 Fair St (Twenty Fair): 6 Stories, 168 rental units, 1,400 s.f. of commercial space. Also reopens Fair St between Union St and Olive St as a pedestrian walkway and park space. Completed August 2026.
10 Liberty St: 5 stories, 150 rental units (of which 149 affordable at 30% to 80% AMI with the 150th being the supervisor’s live-in unit). Under construction.
