I wonder if that design even works anymore now that 501 Summit Ave is built. This one’s tower is road-side and I’d imagine that could cause setback issues (sunlight to the ground) and/or wind issues. Might need a redesign. I’m not a civil engineer or urban planner though, just using my basic knowledge on how plans get approved, so I could be totally wrong. ---

The design is written into the legal settlement agreement. I doubt they’ll go back and renegotiate it with the city. ---

The plan has been revised again. Instead of 902 apartments, there will be 696. Instead of 200 parking spaces, there will be 47. The retail component has been removed (a mistake IMO given demand is picking up for retail space in the neighborhood). No renderings I can share publicly yet. ---

Those are part of the settlement agreement and won’t be redesigned, though details may be filled in. ---

That’s a pile driver. Did this finally get sold? Either the new owners or a prospective owner is doing a survey and geotechnical report on the soil conditions for the site. ---

The developers and architect was at the Hilltop Association meeting last night. My neighbor got an oil tank removed and it spilled and contaminated my yard. State law requires an environmental engineer to monitor the groundwater continually until the contamination falls below threshholds.
