Any sign of them working on the new Shop-Rite space yet?

Nothing moved in yet, but most of the windows on the base look to be installed except for one section on the South side.

I’m laughing at how the web describes the building as luxurious and then says then says we have a Shop-Rite downstairs. That’s definitely not where the wealthy buy food normally.

Although you may only be familiar with the JC Shop-Rite, the modern ones being built in the (wealthy) NJ suburbs are top tier markets -

Yeah. I do know that Shop-Rites exist in wealthy communities.

Edit: What I meant to point out is irony of the words luxury and Shop-Rite being mentioned in the same paragraph. They aren’t too things that are commonly associated with each other.

What is happening to the old ShopRite? Is that getting demolished? And the BJs?

BJs has the longest lease and will be the last to go as the entire parking lot becomes a complete neighborhood.

Yes, the old ShopRite is getting demolished next, as soon as it van close, while the BJs will not be demolished for now. A source told me the ShopRite will just be turned into parking for the time being. The next building to go up would be one of the sites to the west IIRC but I am shaky on that part.
