Stratford isn’t in the same league as Fairfield. Stratford is further from NYC, has much more industry (including the helicopter plant), doesn’t have the same cultural offerings (Fairfield has two universities, while Stratford’s Shakespeare theater closed and burned down years ago) and doesn’t really have much of a downtown. They can probably do more with their riverfront, the most central part of which is occupied by a BJ’s Wholesale Club carpark. But any redevelopment of that area is decades away. ---

I know that but I meant that they’re also building more housing than Bridgeport.
